XCR Pro Scandium 26” Wheel Set Speed Tuned 6-Bolt QR Hubs Spokes

Bicycle Wheel Warehouse is offering this NEW set of Alex XCR Pro Scandium welded disc black 26" wheel set laced with Speed Tuned ST170 (front) and ST300 (rear) sealed bearing Quick Release 6-Bolt Disc Hubs. The XCR Pro Scandium rim has a welded joint with a 23mm outer and 18mm inner width designed for cross country (XC) racing and riding. These wheels will feel and perform like much lighter weight wheels on the bike, due to the incredibly light weight Scandium alloy bike rim (310g).  The Speed Tuned Hubs are Quick Release, front = 9mm x 100mm, rear = 10mm x 135mm, and feature incredibly smooth sealed cartridge bearings.  They offer a light weight design, yet have strong internals meant to hold up.  They can be converted to thru-axle, with the purchase of additional end caps sold separately. The rear hub will work with Shimano MTB series 8, 9, 10, or 11 speed cassettes.  They are built up with Black Sapim Race 2.0mm/1.8mm (14g/15g) Stainless Spokes and DT Swiss Brass Chrome Plated Nipples. This auction is for the above listed wheel set and includes rim tape (installed) and Quick Release levers.
These wheels are not technically tubeless ready, but have an inner profile that is similar to contemporary tubeless ready inner profiles.  These wheels come with rim tape installed. Wheel set weight is approximately 1585g for the pair. We do little things that make a lasting difference, like seating spoke heads against the hub flanges with our own proprietary tools, so that spoke tension doesn’t dramatically change as soon as you put weight on your new wheels the first time you try them out.
